MICHAEL DAVIDSON

Michael Davidson is a versatile business professional with extensive experience in Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Mr. Davidson is adept at identifying and closing business opportunities and building consensus across national and cultural lines. Michael developed a record of excellence in senior leadership positions over the course of 27 years within the Central Intelligence Agency plus ten years as founder of two successful start-ups.

Mr. Davidson co-founded and grew RMD Americas from a cold start in 2004 to one of the largest U.S. scrap tire recyclers with three operating plants and product sold nationally through Home Depot, Lowes, and Wal-Mart. Michael developed the RMD concept based on a relationship with a Spanish equipment company, acquired funding, and set up initial vendors, clients, and state regulatory agencies. He also led negotiations with financial institutions to win funding for new capital purchases.

Michael has worked on global projects commercializing incineration, telecommunications, cable television, tourism, consumer products, construction, electricity generation, infrastructure development, and environmental cleanup technologies.

Mr. Davidson earned a BA in Russian Language and Area Studies from The American University in Washington, DC. He speaks fluent Spanish and French and conversational Russian, Polish, and German.

ABDUL MOEN

Abdul

Abdul Moen is a successful program manager, marketing executive, and sustainable growth advocate with strong engineering and entrepreneurial experience. Mr. Moen founded Moenchello, LLC, to provide technical and growth management strategies and foster entrepreneurial endeavors with a focus on Ethiopian export development. Mr. Moen has resided in the United States for 17 years and is an avid supporter of cross-Atlantic commerce spanning to East Africa and the Middle East.

Mr. Moen regularly interfaces with leading scientists, government officials, and business professionals to address critical trade and technology issues. He has generated profitability and performance breakthroughs in projects ranging from $1.7 to $20 million in value.

He is a consultant to the US Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology, Explosives Division responsible for budget assessments, planning, and full lifecycle systems engineering. Mr. Moen was a Manager at ICOR Partners, an Applications Engineer at Teledyne Electronic Technologies, an Engineer at Siemens Automotive, and a Research Assistant at NASA. 

Mr. Moen earned a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University. He holds an active Top Secret security clearance and speaks fluent Amharic.

KEVIN SAWYER

Kevin Sawyer is a financial modeling, pricing, and customer analysis expert with experience providing executive decision support and management recommendation to senior public and private sector leaders. Mr. Sawyer recently conducted the FY 2007 Fee Review for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by developing an activity based cost (ABC) model, determining fees for service for FY 2008/2009, and preparing supporting documentation. Mr. Sawyer earned the USCIS Chief of Budget the Director’s Exceptional Service Award for this exceptional project that helped justify a fee increase to fund USCIS Transformation.

Mr. Sawyer led a Corporate Development team preparing and analyzing due diligence for one of two business units sold in a $215 million divestiture from a $7 billion U.S. chemical company. He also performed pricing and credit analysis for European, Middle Eastern, and African customers while working if or the same Fortune 500 company.  Mr. Sawyer prepared monthly financials and conducted SG&A and P&L analysis for 16 sites in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Mr. Sawyer maintained receivables from 13 banks and 52 bank accounts in 17 countries. He managed receivables for Great Britain, reducing ADD by 9.53 days (72%) and DSO by 14.1 days (16%) in 11 months, and established lines of credit based on financial statements, company history, and projected performance.

Mr. Sawyer earned an MBA in Finance and operations from the University of Tennessee and a BA in International Business and Psychology from Webster University in Leiden, Netherlands and Cha-am, Thailand.

MEDHAT BAHNAN

Medhat (Matt) Bahnan is a finance, accounting, and business process improvement expert with experience throughout the U.S., Europe, and Africa. Matt spent over 15 years with Fortune 1000 companies and government clients covering multiple industries including Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunication, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Retail. Areas of expertise include Business Strategy, Performance Management, Business Process Improvement, Portfolio Management, Operational Cost Reduction and Supply Chain Management, Program Management, IT Strategy, and Management of Enterprise Resources Planning systems.

Matt led sales & marketing activities for a Business-to-Business Procurement start-up with the goal of developing the organization brand and maximizing sales conversions. Responsibilities included the development and execution of the marketing strategy, sales development, communications and global business development. He also served as a business advisor for an 8-person team that implemented a complete ERP solution at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority "ASEZA".

Mr. Bahnan implemented strategic portfolio management initiative within the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology (DHS S&T) Directorate, helping the organization to optimally allocate its resources. Established portfolio management governance structure, business processes, and deployed ProSight portfolio management software, enabling executives and managers to ensure that R&D investments are aligned to the mission.

Mr. Bahnan earned is MBA with concentrations in Competitive & Organization Strategy, Computer Information Systems and E-Commerce form the Simon School of the University of Rochester and BS in Accounting from the California State University, Northridge. He is fluent in English and Arabic and proficient in Dutch.
